Orientation Meetings
The time has arrived for our
June Orientation Meetings. You and one parent/guardian are
invited to attend an orientation meeting for the purpose of
reviewing the 2007 Advanced Studies Program Student Handbook
(copy enclosed). We are offering two dates for Orientation.
The meetings will be held on the campus of Bridgewater
State College in the Horace Mann Theatre in Boyden Hall. Each
meeting will begin at 7:30 PM and will cover the same
information, so please select one of the following
orientations to attend: Tuesday, June 12th or
Wednesday, June 13th. You do not need to
reserve your choice of nights.
Please take the
time to read the Handbook so that you and your parents are
aware of your responsibilities. Along with reviewing the
details of the Handbook, there will be a short slide
presentation and a question and answer session.
Health Form(s) Reminder
Health Forms
require the signature of a medical doctor and are due in our
office as soon as possible and can be brought to the meeting.
If you will be taking prescription medication(s), please bring
to the orientation meeting enough medication, in its original
container, to be administered during the first week of the
Program.
Directions to Bridgewater
State College
FROM ROUTE 24:
Take Exit 15 (Bridgewater/Raynham Exit) toward Bridgewater,
Route 104. Follow Route 104 East approximately three miles.
You will come to a T intersection (South St.), turn left to
stay on Rt. 104 East. Travel � of a mile and enter
Bridgewater Town Common (rotary). Staying in the right lane,
travel half way around the common and bear right at the gas
station. *You will still be on Route 104. Travel to the first
set of traffic lights and take a right onto Summer Street.
Take the first left onto Park Avenue. Take your first left
into the parking lot (approximately � mile down Park Ave.).
You may park anywhere in this lot.
FROM ROUTE 106/28 OR ROUTE 18/28:
Follow your selected route until you come to the Bridgewater
Town Common (rotary). Exit the rotary at the gas station and
follow the directions from the * above.
USING ROUTE 18 FROM ABINGTON: At the
light in the Bridgewater Center take a left onto Route 104 and
follow directions from the * above.
Once on campus, to reach Boyden Hall, the building
with the white pillars, walk up Park Avenue to the
intersection. Take a left on Summer Street and walk along to
the pedestrian crosswalk. Continue up School Street to a
walkway that will take you to Boyden Hall. The Horace Mann
Theatre is on the right side of the building. |
