There
is a very broad varierty of classes to take that fit everyone's interests. In
each class there is a master teacher, in many cases there is an assistant teacher
and there is always at least one intern. The interns in each class are the same
proctors (camp counselors) that are at PCC all day long. This creates an opportunity
for the students to get to know their interns in class and out of class. -Ashley
Craig, on the classes.
A
great part about being in the dorms is that there are always people around,
people in your hall, people in the hall, and people in your building, so you've
got tons of people to laugh and goof around with. Laughing and goofing around
is exactly what hall parties are for. An official PCC hall party happens once
each week. -Cali Cornell, on the dorms.
Rec is the part of the day when everybody in the program gets to do pretty much
anything they want. There are various activities that are planned everyday.
Some include playing basketball, wiffleball, soccer, kickball, tennis, and many
more. To me this is the best part of the day--you can hang out with your friends
and make new ones as well. It gives you time to relax and have the greatest
times of your life. -Mike Ohrenberger, on rec time.
At PCC, we eat every meal in the dining hall. The dining hall is a great place
to meet new people and hang out with your friends. It is very large and spacious.
It has a Dunkin' Donuts located inside which we have access to during breakfast!
They have different meals for breakfast, lunch, and dinner every day, but there
are bagels and bread (for sandwiches or toast) at every meal. There is always
cereal at breakfast and salad at lunch and dinner. -Lindsey
Craig on the dining hall.
